Due to the large number of submissions we are receiving, we are currently working through the lists. We will confirm whether you have been placed on a waitlist as soon as possible.

  • Schools may enter UP TO 4 students to compete: MAX of 2 Beginner, MAX of 2 Advanced.
  • Students MUST choose from beginner or advanced, and cannot compete in more than one.

How many additional students will you be bringing to Career Day?
Please enter the approximate number of additional students/observers that will be observing the HS Challenges, Craft Championships, and Career Day but not participating in a Challenge.

Acknowledgements

Please read and acknowledge all of the following statements carefully.

1. Lunch will NOT be provided for Welding competitors AND students only attending Career Day.
2. I understand the 2026 ABC of Iowa High School Challenges is presented to schools at absolutely no cost, however, in the event of cancellation with less than 1-week notice we may incur a fee of $100.00 to partially cover materials purchased yet unused.
3. Myself or a school representative will be available for a Zoom meeting on Wednesday, November 11th, 2026 at 12:30 p.m.
I acknowledge that, due to state rules, students cannot be in a school vehicle that is pulling a trailer. I acknowledge that I must have another staff member or a parent help out.
